In July 2017 the corporate name of Viber Media was changed to Rakuten Viber and a new wordmark logo was introduced. ĭjamel Agaoua became Viber Media CEO in February 2017, replacing co-founder Marco who left in 2015. At that sale price, the founders each realized over 30 times return on their investments.
